Our Services :: Upgrades and re-engineering
There are many reasons why an existing sound or video system needs to be changed; the equipment is old and tired, physical connections are failing and letting you down. The last thing you want is the system to fail: it always seems to happen on those important occasions.
Many pieces of equipment will last around 10 years; this may not be the case for some 'budget-level' equipment and it will depend on how it is used. The physical connections (eg. microphone leads / XLRs) are likely to need a little attention during that time.
Perhaps your requirements and needs have changed since the system was installed.
Maybe the system doesn't do what you want it to do. When your requirements change, often there is little that can be done. For example, a loudspeaker system designed for speech can't suddenly be capable of reproducing live music. It is likely to mean that the loudspeakers, along with the amplifier(s) and graphic equaliser(s), will need to be replaced.
It would be very easy for us to say "scrap the lot and start again". This is something we do not do. There are often many ways to upgrade or replace key functions of a sound system.
First and foremost, if your system is struggling for whatever reason, please do contact us.
