It is vital for any PA system, irrespective of its complexity, output level (ie. volume) and number of mixer channels that it produces a clear sound, a Crystal Clear sound if you'll excuse the play on words.

A system design is more than selecting the right equipment; it also involves the where and how it is set up. Crystal Clear Audio is a whole solution provider, not a box shifter. There are many accumulated years of experience providing PA systems for all sorts of organisations and in all sorts of places.

Here are some of the key areas with a few associated thoughts :

• Loudspeakers - it's important the right speaker cabinet is mounted in the best possible place and matched with a suitable amplifier.
• Graphic equaliser - used to adjust the sound, removing problem frequencies. This unit shouldn't be used as a speaker correction tool!
• Microphones - there are so many to choose from - type and price. A microphone is a tool, the right one must be selected for the job.
• Mixer settings and operation - the final part of the equation and the part that varies so much, depending on the knowledge and skill of the sound operator.
