After equipment guarantees have expired Crystal Clear Audio can provide the customer with peace of mind and look after their installed systems.

Audio maintenance: A well installed PA system will need little to no maintenance, especially in the short term. However, if the system is regularly used by a number of groups it is wise to have it regularly (ie. annually) checked.

Video maintenance: Projectors require a little more attention; a few guidelines are listed below.

1. There is a filter inside a projector that needs cleaning every 100 hours or so. If it isn't, the lamp will run hot and its life will be reduced. It's not a difficult task as long as you can get to the projector.

2. Eventually, the lamp inside the projector will need replacing. These days, lamps don't tend to blow, just fade away, so once the expected life is up we do recommend you change it. There's an internal counter that will tell you when it's time, for most it's around 2000 hours.

The standard contract is designed for organisations who need a 48-hour call out service. It includes access to our fast-track support number, an annual system check and unlimited telephone support and consultancy. A contract can also be tailored for video projection equipment. This would include regular filter cleaning and logging of projector use.
