Project Case Studies :: PA Systems
St Leonard's Church
The Parish of St Leonard is part of the diocese of London and in the area of Kensington.
About the project
Ten Shermann loudspeakers provide a distributed PA system in what is an extremely reverberant Anglican church building. There are additional 100v speakers for fill-in areas by the organ and behind the communion area.
The system is controlled by an 8-channel microphone mixer and a 6-channel line level mixer. The first mixer is used for the wired microphones, a mixture of Shure MX418/R185 gooseneck mics and Audio Technica ATM33a stand mics. The second mixer is for the three Sennheiser 'ew300' series radio microphones (two lapels and one handheld) and for playback (eg. CD).
The equipment is housed in two 19" cabinets fitted into matching woodwork.
