Project Case Studies :: PA Systems
Salem Baptist Church
A friendly Baptist church in Hillingdon Heath, near Uxbridge, just off the Uxbridge road.
About the project
A pair of wall mounted Shermann DX370 loudspeakers provide a full range sound system for the church. This enables them to have a quality reproduction of both the spoken word and music. Along with the Soundcraft Folio mixer, they have a powerful and flexible sound system.
A quality (Van damme) multicore was installed with two stage boxes to cater for all eventualities. The boxes are copies of each other; in other words all the inputs and two returns appear in both.
The control area was set up at the back of the room, with mixer and computer on the table. The rest of the sound equipment is in the cabinet in the corner. All in all, quite a neat set up.
